week-long dream

Hihihi, being home feels good :) Reached home at around 1am this morning and spent the rest of the day mooching around the house, unpacking my luggage and surfing the net (of course). The previous week feels like a dream which ended rather abruptly. One moment we were in Taiwan, taking the 捷运 and walking at their street markets... the next moment, it seems, I'm already home sitting on my bed. :(

Nonetheless, I had fun with fang fang, cab & dao dao! It's my first trip to tw and I had no expectations of that place (no idea what it will look like, etc) but it was alright. Good looking youngsters everywhere (why isn't it like that in Singapore??), cheap street food and the uncountable number of shops between alleys. We can never have such stores cause the land is so carefully planned out.. where can you find so many alleys? Oh and the Taiwanese we encountered were so helpful & courteous, quite different from the typical kiasu Singaporean us locals always complain about. hahahha.

I'll be facing reality again tmr morning.. will be returning to work at the company and don my striped (macdonalds look-alike) uniform again.

It's 2:20AM now, time to sleep.

i'll be back

Hello, I'm probably up in the air on a plane as you read this post. This is my first actual trip overseas with friends and I hope that it'll be a fun trip tasting lots of good food and visiting taiwan's attractions! Be prepared for lots of pictures and words later on~

Till we meet again when I return to Singapore on the 28th, bye!

my august 20th

Took a look at these faces as I stepped in front of my table!
Mmm, looking good today :)

It was drizzling slightly as I walked to bukit batok mrt station.

Had yummy & juicy Guo Tie for lunch @ chinatown w/ gla!

I think the guy at the cashier's darn cute. Hahah.

My first ever cup of Koi bubble tea. It was alright..

Walked by an indian temple with the most interesting entrance.

"Stalked" tall caucasians. Nah, kidding.
They just happened to be walking in front of us.

Returned home to find my grandma preparing dinner!

nativity

my room in all its messy glory

My new camera's a black beauty and I love it :) What shall I name it?

So, the dreaded report has been completed + submitted and internship is over! The six months sure sped by quickly.. can still clearly remember the first day I reported for work all blur and clueless. Anw, only several more days of lazing around and spending time with my new-found freedom before I'm setting off to Taiwan for a short trip! It feels great when there's something to look forward to~

the final stretch

Only five more days in the office before internship is finally over. And ten days to the submission of the final report. Looking forward to the former.. and the latter, not so much.

Was just checking out MeL and I'm saddened to find that the 15-min grace period for lessons will no longer be applicable starting from next sem. This means that I'll actually have to start being on time or risk being marked as absent. Nooooo T___T
