Travelled all the way to the east for the expo home design exhibition with my family today. All the exhibits were of modern home furnishing and I was bored out of my wits :( This is surprising, since I had wanted to study interior design in poly. Shouldn't this have ~appealed~ to me? But I really do much prefer IKEA.. Scandinavian > modern decor!

The month of October is gonna be an exciting one. Grades for the internship semester will be out on the 1st (4 days time!), quite likely to get a new phone in about a week's time and I'm looking forward to the Kpop Night concert!! :D

I'm really glad to spend my off days out with friends having fun. The bird park was great, and night safari was kinda creepy but I don't mind going to either again soon. If only I had a lifetime of free passes to the zoo, bird park and safari!!! I'd make friends with my favourite animals :)

sleeping late, sleeping late. i really should get rid of this bad habit and stamp it out of my life!! with only 4.5hr of sleep and an 11-hour work day ahead, it's no wonder that i always seem to be falling sick :( bed, now. bye!

just maybe

tomorrow, my sister & her bf will be queueing at JP's singtel early in the morning to get their hands on the iphone4. kind of reminds me of how i wanted to queue for the kpop night tickets.. but this is much less madness of course. anyway, my sister might be able to help me get one too but it's a difficult process cause we're getting new plans under my dad's name; new numbers, yadda yadda yadda. thus it's highly likely that she'll only get one for herself but we'll see how things go...

my expenses for the past month have been much higher than usual, with a new camera, trip overseas, kpop night tix and it'll have to stop! but i don't feel much of a pinch cause i'm working now. the f&c outlet at JP is currently renovating, which makes it okay for me not to return for the moment i guess. at my current workplace.. after my colleague returns from maternity leave in a week's time i'll be unsure of my standing too. but there's always another way out, another role to play, so there isn't much to worry about for the moment.

right now, i'm just looking forward to (and yet somewhat dreading) the start of the new semester at school :)

Up, up and away!

Haha, this was what I came home to upon returning from overseas 2 weeks back. Isn't my brother the sweetest thing ever? He downloaded and added "Up" to my hard-disk cause I've been lamenting to him that I want to watch the movie :} I've no time to watch it for the time being but I will soon!

Today's the day I finally found the courage to speak the Korean language to actual Korean people/tourists [other than my song saeng nim (teacher), that is] only to get looks of shock in response, along with them repeating what I said happily. Or maybe they were just shocked... I don't know. They managed to correct my sentence into something more meaningful. Instead of 'pls follow me version 1 (请跟着我)', it became 'pls follow me version 2 (请跟我走)'. Guess it'll be useful for work. Hahaha! :)

bubble tea

I miss the cheap bubble tea from 50岚!! 90% sweet milk tea + pudding (yummy. they don't seem to have this in sg!) + large pearls + regular ice. Plus, it's only about $1.50! Mix and match to your liking with no added cost~
