다시 돌아와

My favourite way to spend off days: In my room, sitting in front of the laptop. Sad, but true. Every other week, I'll try to make it down to the Salvation Army and sometimes to the supermarket to stock up on snacks. Waking up at 2pm is a norm now.

Worked for 7 days straight in the previous week and I almost lost my mind. Sigh. It somehow feels so hectic during work that time passes by in a haze.

Happened during co-ordination too.. remember that day which parts of S'pore flooded for the second time? It was raining heavily at the flyer too and the situation was very chaotic. Only while sitting in the vehicle heading back to the office later on that my mind started to comprehend the things which all happened before.

Anyway, I really have to head to bed nowwww. Need to report to the office at 7.30am tomorrow! Much too early for my liking. Thus is the life of an intern~

stay safe,

Wenbin & Yihui.

Jamie, your plane should still be on its way to the destination.. have fun taking in all the new sights, sounds & smells in Australia. Take good care of yourself & study hard. We'll miss you in the meantime!

Anw, I was just thinking what kind of things I would want to have in the future.
  • Cozy living space
  • Fairy lights
  • Able to bake/cook whenever I want to
  • Music playing at every waking hour
  • Pets! I don't mind fish if it can't be something furry..
  • Travel the world

Internship is ending soon-ish, in just another 7 weeks or so. I'm somewhat looking forward to the start of the school semester. My friends are all talking about attending new schools, camps and whatnot which makes me wish that time in poly will speed by more quickly so that I can head to somewhere more exciting, lol.

waveee

Here I am back at my blog again after a hiatus. I guess working really does take the life out of me. Thank goodness this is only for 6 months and not for years (or the rest of my life, even)! Somehow or the other, things fell into a simple routine. Which would have been okay if there's something to look forward to at the end of the day but sadly, that's not how my life is now :(

Ending work means going home to watch television with my super chatty grandma. (She doesn't have many people to talk to, so she crams all her conversations in with me? Ha) On some days, I end up closing my eyes for a moment and wake up finding that it's past midnight already :O

Even the amount of time spent with my siblings is dwindling to almost nil. Around twice a week I have dinner with my brother at home. Once a week, I have a long conversation with my sister in our room. But is that really enough? Oh well.

The thoughts of moving back into the small room in April is already giving me claustrophobic thoughts. Two people back in a space large enough only to accommodate one bed. And both 3 years older since the last time we stayed there. - ___ -

For now, I'm looking forward to the trip overseas with my classmates. Is it still going to materialise? I really hope so! It'll be a nice break...

And here's a picture from our dinner meeting that day. Thank goodness we were "forced" to take pictures, lol. Makes for a much better means of remembering the occasion :)
